1832 - Call for Green Transformation in Industry

The Turkey Green Industry Project, implemented by TÜBİTAK and KOSGEB under the coordination of the Ministry of Industry and Technology with the support of the World Bank, has been allocated $450 million in funding. As part of the project, TÜBİTAK-TEYDEB will support the green transformation of industry with $175 million in financing throughout the project's lifespan. TÜBİTAK will launch various calls for proposals as part of the six-year Türkiye Green Industry Project. One of these calls is the Call for Green Transformation in Industry.

Projects submitted to the call are expected to be continuations of previously developed R&D activities. Studies involving products or services supported by TÜBİTAK-TEYDEB or KOSGEB, which have reached a certain stage but have not yet been commercialized, and which still require R&D work for commercialization, are eligible for consideration. Furthermore, green transformation-focused R&D and innovation efforts developed by organizations with their own financial resources may also be considered for consideration, provided the preliminary work is specified in the project. Prototype development or improvement, validation and certification testing, on-site application, scaling, demonstration, and field trials covering the THS 5-9 range are eligible for consideration.

SMEs and large-scale organizations with a registration date of two years or more (excluding spin-offs and companies established with TÜBİTAK 1512 and/or 1812 support) are eligible to apply. Applications are welcome with partnerships, with a maximum of three partners. The criteria for eligible organizations are specified in the call announcement. An organization may apply with a maximum of two project proposals.

The maximum support period is 24 months, with a project budget limit of 10,000,000 TL for micro/small-scale companies, 16,000,000 TL for medium-sized companies, and 30,000,000 TL for large-scale companies. Interest-free repayable support will be provided to capital companies under the call, with a maximum of 50% repayment. A portion of the repayment can be converted into grant support. Repayment of the support will begin one year after the project's completion.
